Sultan Pleco L264 3 in to 3.5 in

The Sultan Pleco (Leporacanthicus joselimai, L264) is a very distinctive and highly prized pleco. Juveniles and adults are both light to medium grey in color with black spots. Juveniles also have white tips on their dorsal and tail which fade as the fish matures.
These fish, while prized, can be delicate. They are sensitive to poor water quality, particularly high nitrite and nitrate levels, so pristine conditions and frequent water changes are a must.
They are omnivorous and need meaty foods as well as plant matter.
These Plecos are 5.5 – 6 ” in size.
